Florence was a beautiful city. I would have enjoyed a few days there...but I was dragging all the boys around with me as it was!
After seeing touristy David stuff throughout our trip, we finally got a picture with the guy himself. :) Well...almost this is
the replica of Michelangelo's famous statue David, that stands in front of Palazzo Vecchio. It worked for us.
The backside of Florence's Duomo
Me and my "little" brothers.
This was yet another beautiful cathedral.
One of the baptistery doors made of gilded bronze.
I guess I DID tell them they could sit and play on their phones just as easily in Florence as they could sitting at the villa. Boys!
The Ponte Vecchio bridge. This was a cool bridge with shops all the way across.
The Basilica di Santa Croce
The sun setting on our last night in Tuscany.
These guys played live music at the restaurant. They were so much fun. They kept trying to come up with song that "the Americans would know." It was great, they'd sing parts in English, parts in Italian. So much fun!
What an amazing trip. Thanks for making it happen dad!
